How do I request features?

We've shipped a lot of new features over the years, but we still have a lot of work to do ๐Ÿ’ช
If there's a feature you'd like us to prioritize, we'd love to hear from you! We tally up all these votes and requests to create our roadmap and make sure we're building the right stuff.

Current projects

Here's what's at the top of our list right now (in no particular order):
  • Better offline support
  • Faster performance & startup time on Android & iOS
  • API & integrations
  • Timeline view (Gantt chart)
  • Better search

Top requests

We've heard from many of you about the following features. They're definitely on our radar, but in the meantime, you can click the toggles for a workaround that should do the trick for now:
  • Google Calendar integration
We don't currently have a Google Calendar integration, but you can embed a view-only Google Calendar into Notion if the address you're embedding from is the same as the one associated with your Notion account:
    1. Navigate to the settings page of the calendar you would like to embed and click on the Settings and sharing tab.
    2. Scroll down to the Access Permissions heading and make sure you check Make available to public or Make available for Team with See all event details selected.
    3. Scroll to Integrate Calendar and navigate to the URL in the box that says Public URL to this calendar.
    4. Copy the updated URL, return to Notion, paste that URL and select Embed.
  • Using Notion with multiple emails
At the moment, you can only use the workspace switcher if you're using the same email address for each workspace.
What we generally suggest as a workaround is having one account logged into the desktop app and one in a browser, or both using our web app with one logged into an incognito window. If you're using a Chrome browser with multiple Chrome profiles, you can switch between profiles within the browser. This allows you to switch emails without logging in and out.
  • Tabs inside of Notion
We don't have a tabbed interface at the moment, but if you hold control (Windows) or command (Mac) while clicking any link in Notion, it will open in a new window so you can see the two side by side! Alternatively, if you're using our web app, you can use browser tabs ๐Ÿ—‚
  • See all tasks assigned to me
We don't currently have a way to automatically create a dashboard of all your assigned tasks, but it's a popular feature request and on our radar to build.
We recommend consolidating your tasks into one database, and then setting up a view with a filter that contains Me in the person assigned column, so you can see all of the tasks assigned to you.
If your tasks are spread across multiple databases, you can use the Create Linked Database option to add multiple in-line views of your databases into one page, then set up filters showing your assigned tasks for each one. More on that here โ†’
